H. Also, that entrance into any Battery or Fortifi- cation in the Colony is prohibited, unless the person is provided with a pass from the Officer in Command of the Troops.

III. Also, that the making of any sketch, plan, or photograph of any fortification in the Colony is prohibited, and that any person found in the vicinity of a fort with photographic or sketching apparatus in his possession is liable to arrest.

CARGO BOATS MOORED TO VESSEL

AT BUOY.

Notice to Mariners.

It is hereby notified that when vessels are moored at their Buoys in the Harbour not more than five cargo- boats shall be moored abreast on either side of such vessel at one time; and not more than two steam- launches, one of which may be the Company's launch, shall lie alongside any vessel's gangway at one time.

Notice.

ROYAL OBSERVATORY,

Masters of vessels are hereby notified that the Fair- way Buoys are not to be obstructed by vessels anchoring within the following limits :—

To the South of a line drawn N. 53° W. from the Northern Fairway Buoy.

To the North of a line drawn 13° W. from the Southern Fairway Buoy.

Time Signals.

Commencing with January 1st, 1920, the Time Ball on Kowloon Signal Hill will be dropped daily at 10 a.m. (120th Meridian Tine) instead of at 1 p.m.

It will also be dropped at 4 p.m. except on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. On Saturdays it will be dropped at 1 p.m. instead of at 4 p.m.

The Ball will be hoisted half must at the 55th minute and full mast at the 57th minute.

Should the Time Ball be out of order the above routine will be carried out with the flag Z", on the Storm Signal mast.
